A passionate visual artist from Sri Lanka, now based in India, Chamini Weerasooriya is known for blending traditional aesthetics with contemporary expressions. Her body of work spans across painting, sculpture, mural art, and mixed media, capturing cultural narratives and artistic depth.

A Pioneer in Heritage Art
She holds the unique distinction of being the first female artist in Sri Lankan history to contribute to traditional Buddhist temple wall paintings, paving the way for female representation in this ancient art form.
